GIFTS OF CHRISTMAS JOY Lutheran
Family Services in the Carolinas has been entrusted with the care of
many of God’s children across North and South Carolina. Throughout the
year, we strive to provide a safe and nurturing
environment
for each
one of them. And at Christmas, we want all of those we serve in
residential care to experience the special joy of both giving and
receiving. Through
the Gifts
of Christmas Joy Program, you can provide gift certificates to individuals in our
residential programs. With the certificates, our clients may then
purchase gifts for themselves, their families and/or friends. Checks should be mailed by November 30, in order to provide adequate time to distribute the certificates and take the clients shopping. Gifts received after November 30 will be used later in the year for birthdays or other holidays. Thank you for being a part of this special program. Your gift will help others to experience the joy of giving at Christmas. Click HERE for Gifts of Christmas Joy form.

Each year, we collect needed items for the
children, families, and refugees served by Lutheran
Family Services in the Carolinas. We bring these items to the NC Women
of the ELCA Gathering, which will be held this year from June 11 through
June 13, 2010 at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Lutheran Family Services' staff will assist in unloading our
contributions in the front
yard of Monroe Auditorium. Items do not need to be packaged in kits or in any specific combination. If, however, you would like to package your collection, here are some ideas for containers: backpacks, gym bags, laundry baskets, paper bags, or boxes. . If your congregational unit is unable to bring items, consider sponsoring a child for a day, a week, a month, or longer! Checks should be made out "Lutheran Family Services". Write "Child Sponsorship" in the memo line. Thank you for your continued support of Lutheran Family Services! SPONSOR A CHILD*
